Job description, responsibilities and duties:
• Implementation of the project, financial and narrative reporting, regular monitoring of the project, meetings with local partners
• Preparation of PR materials (web posts, social networks posts, blogs), participation on PR events back in Slovakia;
• Local fundraising and networking (meetings with embassies, local donors, local and international NGOs, searching for funding opportunities);
Requirements for the employee:
• Required education: University education (Master’s degree)
• Language skills: English – Professional, other languages are an advantage (French, German, Swahili)
• Knowledge of international development or humanitarian aid
• Previous experience in developing countries
• Experience in project management, financial and narrative reporting;
• Background from agriculture, ecology or environmental protection is advantage
• Excellent physical health;
• Demonstrable presentation and writing skills;
• Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, ability to work in multi-cultural environment;
• Ability to work in difficult working conditions and under pressure;
• Organizational skills;
• Driving license
• MS Office skills (Power Point, Excel);

Job description, responsibilities and duties:
• Project management, logistics (procurement and delivery of material assets), financial and narrative reporting, regular monitoring of the project, meetings with local partners
• Preparation of PR materials (web posts, social networks posts, blogs), participation on PR events back in Slovakia;
• Field assessment and preparation of project proposals
• Local fundraising and networking (meetings with embassies, local donors, local and international NGOs, searching for funding opportunities);
• Representing People in Peril in South Sudan with government institutions and other NGOs, ensuring the compliance of South Sudan mission with legal requirements of the country (registration, work permits, etc.)
Requirements for the employee:
• Required education: University education (Master’s degree)
• Language skills: English – Professional, Arabic is an advantage since it is the dominant language in the country
• Knowledge of international development or humanitarian aid
• Previous experience in developing countries
• Experience in project management, financial and narrative reporting;
• Background from agriculture is an advantage due to agricultural nature of the project
• Excellent physical health;
• Demonstrable presentation and writing skills;
• Strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, ability to work in multi-cultural environment and with South Sudanese colleagues
• Ability to work in difficult working conditions (in rural environment, 200 km from the closest town, as the only expatriate for longer periods) and under pressure;
• Organizational skills;

• Searching for funding opportunities, networking with local and international NGOs
