In the second half of 2022 FoRS has been busy preparing the activities linked to the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU. Thanks to the European Presidency project “Towards an open, fair and sustainable Europe in the World”, the FoRS Secretariat organize a large number of events this year. Other activities are enabled by subgrants provided to the member organizations of FoRS.
The plan for autumn is full of events and debates addressed either to the actors active in foreign development assistance (such as academic institutions, private sector, public administration), or to the wider public.

As our times are characterised by the increasing impact of climate change, armed conflicts and acute food shortages in fragile regions, this conference highlights the importance of international partnerships, the role of civil society and other actors as key elements in strengthening the resilience of local communities in developing countries.
