Výzvy na podávání projektových žádostí

Pro EU Aid Volunteers právě probíhají 2 výzvy na podávání projektových žádostí: „Technical Assistance and Capacity Building“ a „Certification Mechanism for Sending and Hosting Organisations„. Více informací o obou výzvách naleznete zde. 1) Technical Assistance and Capacity Building Technical assistance is nearly the same as capacity building in ECHO’s terms. The only difference is that technical assistance focuses on European organisations and capacity building on organisations from third countries. Deadline: 1 April (70% of available funds), 1 September (30 % of available funds) Technical Assistance:

• Partnerships from ≥ 3 different EU countries.
• 2 partners have humanitarian aid experience ≥ 5 years.
• 1 partner has volunteer management experience ≥ 5 years

Eligible activities: a wide range of organisational development and skills focused activities. For Technical assistance projects only, a supplementary award criterion is applicable: The extent to which the project proposed benefits organisations from countries that joined the EU in 2004 or thereafter or organisations from other countries participating in the programme that are underrepresented in humanitarian aid. It was mentioned in the conference that other two countries that are underrepresented as ECHO partners are Portugal and Greece. Financing available: EUR 100 000 – EUR 700 000. It is limited to 85 % of the total eligible costs of the action.   2) Certification Mechanism for Sending and Hosting Organisations Organisations are invited to apply to become EU AID Volunteer sending organisations or hosting organisations. The sending organisations will deal with the selection, recruitment and deployment of volunteers, while hosting organisations will receive them and benefit from their work. In order to become a certified organisation, the NGO active in the field of humanitarian aid would need to fill in an evidence-based self-assessment form. The self-assessment form includes proof for your organisation’s standards and procedures in relation to numerous topics. It is mandatory to provide evidence for:

• Safety and security policy
• Equal opportunities policies for volunteers and staff
• Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
• Health and safety at work
• Data protection policy
